Quality
By taking a practical look at what we
actually need, we have made the most of single-origin traceability to produce a well-made product distinguishable by its service, pre-washed fabric, quality dyeing, stitching and notions. Made with care, the range was designed and manufactured in Queensland by a designer and crafts people who are masters of quality control.
Fit
Just like finding a good tailor, this
design element was essential throughout the product development stage. Primarily because fit is essential to our personal confidence and comfort. We know how important this is for ease of work and looking good. Our sizing chart will give assurance to be able to purchase with confidence and of course if the product doesn’t fit we will accept a
return for exchange or money back.
Durability
In our harsh climate and rigorous working conditions, we wanted to make our clothing range to be durable inter-seasonal pieces. Using natural fibres is a proven link to lasting wear and service. Whatever the work conditions the testing proved that they deliver beyond one season, wash after wash. We have also considered lighter colour tone
to ensure comfort in the heat of the day.
A Yarn About The Yarn
Provenance is important to us. Where possible the fabric is sourced locally and with this in mind we have used premium Australian Long Staple (ALS) cotton grown by Rogan Pastoral Co at “Benelong” St. George Queensland for Australian Super Cotton. This long fibre has excellent longevity and softness making it very comfortable to wear. Utilising best management practices (myBMP – a leading industry led grower initiative), this commitment means that the fibre is fully traceable from the paddock it was grown. It is the most efficiently grown best quality fibre in the world.
Through Full Circle Fibres, the cotton is milled and then woven in Australia. A truly remarkable cyclical business model that mirrors the traditional values we hold for supporting on-shore design and manufacturing with the production of quality products in Brisbane, Queensland Australia. With Outturn, we wear our fibre knowing it is the best in the world. We also use the offcuts which typically go to landfill to make useful accessories thus reducing ecological impacts.
